Trail, a prominent banker and landowner in Frederick City, and it has remained in the family since. Riverside includes over 2,000 linear feet of frontage on the Monocacy River and is situated 1/2 mile south of the Monocacy National Battlefield. The Frederick County Land Preservation Program office has stated that this property would be their top priority for the Rural Legacy preservation program.
